Kick-Off Meeting in Graz

The project kick-off meeting unfolded from January 28 to 30 at the University of Graz, Austria, bringing together partners from the University of Venice and Malaga, along with representatives from the three participating schools. This meeting laid the groundwork for the collaborative journey ahead in the EcoStories project.

The event commenced with a welcoming dinner on Sunday evening, setting the stage for in-depth conversations and shared insights. Monday saw teams delving into the project, each presenting their expertise and contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the key factors driving the Ecostories initiative. A notable moment during the meeting was a keynote lecture on Eco-Linguistics by Ao.Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr.phil. Hermine Penz, providing valuable perspectives on a content level. The day concluded with an outing to the KUG Jazz Night, fostering both professional bonds and a sense of camaraderie among the participants. The second day focused on discussions surrounding the project timeline, budget plans, and effective communication strategies within the project teams. The meeting concluded in a closing dinner, offering an informal setting for networking and relationship building.

The atmosphere during the kick-off meeting was marked by enthusiasm and optimism. As we embark on this venture with partners from renowned universities and schools, the Ecostories project holds promise for a meaningful impact.
