Irene Durán Bascuñana

Irene Durán Bascuñana is an English teacher from Málaga, currently working at Colegio Diocesano La Presentación. She has also taught at Colegio Diocesano Cardenal Herrera Oria and has several years of experience working with Secondary School students. She studied English Studies at the University of Málaga and is passionate about the English language and Anglo-Saxon culture.

Irene brings her students’ digital interests —such as social media, online content and videogames— into the classroom to help them realise how much English they already use in their daily lives. She enjoys building strong connections with teenagers and supporting them as they grow in confidence and develop their own voice in English.
